Sudhir is the Founder and CEO of Levanta Renewables and is based in Danang, Vietnam.
Sudhir has been actively involved with energy innovation for over 20 years and has a proven track record in development, financing, EPC and asset management / O&M of energy technology and management of high growth renewable energy companies across diverse geographies and cultures in Asia, Europe, and America.
He has previously served as CEO Wind Business at Orange Renewable, a renewable energy IPP headquartered in New Delhi, India. Sudhir led Orange Renewable’s wind platform growth from zero to a 2 GW renewable energy development pipeline in Asia including 0.8 GW operating and under construction and in 2018 delivered a successful exit to Orange’s investors in one of the largest renewables transactions to date in India.
Prior to his time at Orange Renewable, Sudhir has held various positions within the energy industry, including spending almost 4 years at Gamesa (now Siemens Gamesa) where he managed the commercialization and industrialization of the largest onshore wind turbine in North America at the time.
Sudhir holds a bilingual MBA from IESE Business School in Barcelona and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
Pankaj is the CFO Advisor of Levanta Renewables and is based in Singapore.
Pankaj currently also serves as CFO of Bridgin Power (Actis’ gas power company in Asia). He has around 20 years of experience in the Power sector in the areas of Business Development, M&A, asset management and Project & Structured Finance. Prior to joining Bridgin and Levanta, he served as the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Nexif Ratch Energy Investments Pte. Ltd. – a clean-energy focused power project platform jointly promoted by Nexif Energy and RATCH Group. Prior to this, he was the CFO as well as a board director for a gas-fired CCGT project in Thailand.
In the span of his career, Pankaj has also co-founded a South-East Asia/ India focused Infrastructure Asset Management firm providing investment advisory and asset management services to international institutional investors in the domain of Power sector investments. He has also earlier worked with Abu Dhabi National Energy Company PJSC (TAQA), IL&FS Group, SBI Capital Markets Ltd. and Power Finance Corporation in India in various capacities in the areas of Business development, M&A, Debt and Equity mobilization & funding, and sectoral advisory services with primary focus on the Power sector.
Pankaj holds a post-graduate diploma in Business Management from the Management Development Institute, Gurugram (India) as well as a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh (India).
Rohit is the Head of Strategy and M&A of Levanta Renewables and is based in Singapore.
Rohit has over 13 years of experience in power and infrastructure transactions across Southeast Asia, South Asia, Japan, and Australia. During this time Rohit has actively led and been involved in capital raise, corporate and transaction structuring, principal investments, debt raising, asset management and divestment for renewable energy investments.
Prior to joining Levanta, Rohit was an Investment Manager at Berkeley Energy, a private equity fund manager, where he managed the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) distributed energy investment and was involved from the early-stage capital raise to growing the C&I business to a US$ 300m platform with assets across eight countries in Asia. In addition, he managed renewable energy investment and greenfield development in Indonesia. Rohit has previously worked at GE Energy Financial Services and Standard Chartered Bank.
Rohit holds a Bachelor of Technology (Chemical Engineering) from Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, and Post Graduate Diploma in Management (MBA) from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
Eric is the Head of Sustainability of Levanta Renewables and is based in Bangkok, Thailand.
Eric has been actively involved in the energy sector for over 35 years and has a proven ability in energy investments, business development, negotiation, management, and financing. He is knowledgeable in strategic planning, corporate finance, cost management, and financial accounting, and has project development expertise and market intelligence in conventional and alternative energy sectors in Asia, and America.
Eric previously served as CEO of Pacific Impact Development (“PID”) and Infunde, renewable energy developers headquartered in Singapore. Eric led PID and Infunde’s strategy formation, origination, investment and execution of greenfield projects in solar, wind, hydro and other infrastructure projects in Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.
Prior to his time at PID and Infunde, Eric has held various positions within the energy industry, including spending 5 years at Sumitomo Corporation and 4 years at GDF Suez (now ENGIE) where he was responsible for the strategy, origination and execution of business development opportunities.
Eric holds an MBA from the American Graduate School of International Management in California, and a BA in in Business Administration and Psychology from Skidmore College in New York.
Dan is the Head of Utility Scale of Levanta Renewables and is based in Singapore.
Dan has been actively involved in technical project execution in Southeast Asia for more than 35 years, representing contractors, consultants and developers in the implementation of power plants, cement plants, breweries, municipal water treatment plants, and other technical infrastructure projects, with a primary focus on the wind industry since 2006.
Dan previously served as Regional Project Manager with Siemens Gamesa APAC managing EPC consortium and TSA contracts for 7 windfarm projects in Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Philippines, with a total capacity of 600 MW both onshore and nearshore.
Prior to his time at Siemens Gamesa, Dan held various leadership positions at engineering and management and contracting companies including Vestas, DK Engineering, Kongsberg Norcontrol IT A/S, and Thai Windpower where he was responsible for the development, technical engineering, EPC management and execution, and O&M of various projects.
Dan holds a Bachelor’s in Architectural and Construction Management, majoring in Project Management and Supervision from Horsens Polytechnic in Denmark.
Michael is the Co-Head of C&I business of Levanta Renewables and is based in Singapore.
Michael has been a part of the renewable energy transition for over 15 years with experience in development, financing, M&A, procurement and construction, and asset management of projects working in Development, EPC, and Engineering companies in Southeast Asia and North America.
Prior to Levanta Renewables, Michael was VP of Business Development (SEA) in Cleantech Solar, a renewable energy IPP headquartered in Singapore, with operations in India and Southeast Asia. Michael was a founding member of the management team in Cleantech Solar and, together with the founders, grew the platform from zero to a GW renewable energy player in Asia, including a 0.7 GW operating portfolio, and in 2022, delivered a successful exit for the shareholders to Keppel and Shell.
Prior to Cleantech Solar, Michael was with Phoenix Solar, a German EPC where he was leading development of financed C&I projects in Singapore and prior to that at HH Angus, a leading engineering firm in Canada.
Michael holds an Electrical Engineering Degree from the University of Toronto, Canada.
Raghav is the Co-Head of the C&I business of Levanta Renewables and is based in Singapore.
Raghav has dedicated over a decade to the renewable energy industry, focusing on the development, engineering, procurement and construction of solar photovoltaic projects. His experience spans across India and Southeast Asia, where he has been instrumental in advancing renewable energy companies through his expertise.
He has previously served as VP of Project Management of Cleantech Solar, a renewable energy IPP headquartered in Singapore, with operations in India and Southeast Asia. Raghav was a founding member of the management team in Cleantech and, together with the founders, grew the platform from zero to a GW renewable energy player in Asia, including a 0.7 GW operating portfolio, and in 2022, delivered a successful exit for the shareholders to Keppel and Shell.
Before his time at Cleantech Solar, Raghav was with Phoenix Solar, a German Engineering Procurement and construction company, where he managed the development & construction of their solar projects in Singapore.
Raghav holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) from the National University of Singapore, specialising in Energy Systems and is a PMP-certified professional. He was honoured under Renewable Energy Worlds’ inaugural 40 under 40 changemakers list in the solar industry in 2018. He has also co-authored conference papers centred around the performance of solar photovoltaic systems; details can be found on the ResearchGate platform.
Jean Tay is the Regional Head of Sustainability of Levanta Renewables and is based in Singapore.
Jean currently also serves as Group Head of Sustainability of Bridgin Power (Actis’ gas power company in Asia). Jean is a seasoned HSE professional with over 15 years of experience and a proven track record in leading high-risk activities and achieving 3 Goal Zero turnarounds in the chemical and energy sectors across diverse geographies and cultures in Asia.
She has most recent previously served as HSE Regional Specialist at Shell, based in Singapore. Jean led a global HSE workstream known as Frontline Work Execution and facilitated leadership workshops in Malaysia, China, India, Thailand and Singapore. With deep expertise in cross business and country collaboration projects, she has also advised on projects in Shell facilities like Solar Panel installations, etc.
Prior to her time at regional level, Jean held various positions within Shell and Chevron Phillips Chemicals Singapore multiple operating assets as a HSE advisor and Environmental advisor, to name a few, leading HSE teams in 3 turnarounds to Goal Zero, reporting GHG protocols, led key accident investigations with causal reasoning, audited contractors’ HSSE & Worker Welfare processes and participated in Shell Crisis Management Teams.
Jean holds a Master of Science (Safety, Health and Environmental Technology) with Process Safety Specialization from the National University of Singapore and Bachelor of Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety with Distinction from The University of Newcastle Australia.
